Glenfiddich Stag Head

Glenfiddich Stag Heads | 2010–2015

Between 2010 and 2015, I produced 13 lead crystal stag heads for Glenfiddich, installed at international airports worldwide, including Heathrow, Frankfurt and Dubai.

Commissioned through the National Glass Centre, Sunderland, I undertook the mould-making and lost-wax glass casting. Each head used approximately 50 kg of lead crystal and required an annealing cycle exceeding six weeks. The antlers were cast separately and bonded after polishing.
